

Beginning in 1987 and gaining his License as a Professional Land Surveyor for California in 2000 (PLS 7673), Mr. Johnson has 24 years of experience in all aspects of surveying from initial project coordination and research, performing survey data adjustments and analysis, to overseeing and providing construction staking through final as-built and ALTA surveys. As part of Mr. Johnson's long term goal of continuing education he has completed coursework in surveying at the University of California Riverside, Rancho Santiago College, Santa Ana Canyon College, Riverside Community College and other fields of study including Computer Information Systems at the University of Phoenix.
Mr. Johnson joined CALVADA Surveying after a 14 year career as being the Director of Land Surveying for a large engineering and surveying firm based in the Riverside, where he lead, trained and supervised several field crews, including technical office and support staff. From entitlement to field survey and construction to delivery of a completed product, Mr. Johnson has the knowledge and experience to provide the entire range of services any municipal, private development or construction company has come to expect. As part of the private and public sector of development, Mr. Johnson gained experience with Subdivisions, Retail Centers, Commercial Distribution Centers, Pipeline, Tank Site & Reservoir projects, Mass Grading and Hillside Slope projects, Hospitals, Schools, Training Facilities for Fire & Police, Highways, Channels, Parking Structures and many others.
Prior to that, Mr. Johnson had a 10-year career with the Riverside County Transportation Department, Survey Division, where he has brought his extensive experience in government service aspects of Surveying including but not limited to Right-of-Way and Boundary Survey determination, Legal Description writing, Final Map preparation and checking, Aerial and Ground Topographic surveys, Risk Management, Abandonments, Real Property Acquisitions, Use Case processing and many other field functions such as Road Alignment and Construction Staking. Some notable projects Mr. Johnson has been involved with were the Domenigoni Diamond Valley Lake, Eagle Mountain Landfill, Cleveland National Forest Public Lands, Metrolink Railway Station, French Valley Airport, Southwest Justice Center, Santa Rosa Plateau, Bear Valley Golf Course, just to name a few.
Mr. Johnson is currently in charge of Field Operations and the Construction Department as the Manager of Field Services and Construction. He is responsible for overseeing all field work personnel, policy and procedures, construction services, estimating, proposal and contract review.

Mr. Gonzalez is a Project manager for our Telecommunications Services Division as well as the Manager of Field Services which consists of scheduling the project work flow, assignment and supervision of projects from start to finish, heavy communications with clients to coordinate the efforts of our field staff for efficient and on-time performance. He also manages project and business unit profitability, project deadlines, customer communication, staff management and mentoring, and the QA/QC process.

Ms. Konecna began her career in the Czech Republic in 1997. During that time, she developed specialized skills in engineering and land surveying while working for Geopoint in the Czech Republic and then at Calvada Surveying, starting in 2001. Ms. Konecna’s experience includes the oversight and management of several key client projects including Bechtel National, Inc. & Shaw Environmental & Infrastructure, Inc. under their Navy Clean II and III contract; CH2Mhills and Earth Tech’s AFCEE contracts and was primarily responsible for completing all survey reports for projects completed for Alameda Point, Naval Stations-San Diego, Naval Weapons Station-Seal Beach, March Air Force Base, El Toro Marine Base, Tustin Marine Base and Hunters Shipyard.
As the Project Manager- Real Estate Services, Ms. Konecna is responsible for the management of all ALTA and topographic surveys projects, including proposal generation, communication with clients, management of survey technicians, and oversight of quality control. Ms Konecna has a Bachelors in Science: Land Surveying from the Brno University of Technology.

Mr. Yarborough has over twenty-two years of experience in land surveying around the world including Alaska, Greenland, Saudi Arabia, Romania, Egypt and Pakistan and started his career at Calvada Surveying in 2003. Since then, he has gained expertise as a Party Chief and Project Surveyor utilizing 3D scanning equipment, as well as conventional and GPS instruments.
Mr. Yarborough’s expertise lies within RTK, 3D scanning, survey software, CAD, and GIS computer mapping and data management. He is highly proficient with the Leica HDS 3000 High Definition 3D Scanner as well as a number of TDS and Geodimeter total stations. He primarily works on special projects where we must utilize the latest technology and survey techniques to complete the end deliverables. Mr. Yarborough has a Bachelors in Science: Geology from California State University- San Diego and has certificates in GIS and GPS from the University of California-Riverside.
