| The Walt Disney California Adventure project consisted of support of the design, layout and construction of the new California themed park located in Anaheim, California as part of Disneyland's expansion in 1998. Calvada performed surveying services in support of this effort. Our work product included field staking, cut sheets, grading, layout of underground utilities, reports, field notes, and support documents delivered to our client. All surveying, field notes, cut sheets and field staking was performed under the direct supervision of a licensed California land surveyor with overall project oversight provided by our client.
Because of the extreme time constraints and deadline progression, each phase was dependent on the surveying company completing each task in a timely and efficient manner. Calvada Surveying took special care to implement a QA / QC program that was fast-track capable. As a result of this effort, and the efforts of the entire engineering and construction team, Disney's California Adventure opened for business, on time and within budget. If fact, if you ever visit the beautiful theme park located in Anaheim, CA, you will find the name of Calvada Surveying, immortalized by Disney at the entrance, as partaking in the engineering and construction team, credited with helping make the theme park construction a success.
